BEIGHLEY CONSULTING ASSOCIATES offers a comprehensive package of corporate tools designed to define and develop appropriate corporate culture and assist in the creation of short- and long-term strategy. In this context, we work to clarify vision, enhance management performance, and deepen understanding of working relationships through a wide range of personality assessments.
FAMILY BUSINESS CONSULTATION
This component focuses on assisting the family-owned or closely-held business venture in adequately creating and maintaining healthy boundaries to protect the integrity of both the family and the business. This is accomplished through evaluation of the current business strategies against vision statements and best practices. The process also examines the family/business philosophy and value system, succession planning strategies, communication and conflict-resolution techniques currently in use, and individual-to-position fit through the use of personality and performance assessments. A specific plan is then developed to lead the organization through a dynamic change process integrating the business philosophy, practice, and vision in one complete operational package.
CORPORATE COACHING
Dr. Beighley offers individual coaching for business owners, corporate board members, and Tier I/Tier II management personnel. The Corporate Coaching component of Beighley Consulting focuses on enhancing communication and people-reading skills, developing conflict resolution tools appropriate to the business endeavor, and assisting in the resolution of individual and interpersonal issues inhibiting growth in the individual and/or business.
MANAGEMENT TEAM BUILDING
In this component, Dr. Beighley acts as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and/or Tier I/Tier II Management Teams. Dr. Beighley would attend meetings as the "observer", noting and commenting on the processes of communication, hierarchy, problem-solving skills, team-work skills, conflict-resolution skills, and task execution skills. Alternative methods and options for operating effectively as a team are outlined and assistance in implementing appropriate changes is offered.
Additionally, offsite meetings are available during which personality and performance assessments are administered. The results, when examined in the individual and group context offer insight into the skill sets of varying types of personalities and group cultures. An additional part of the Management Team Building component is the facilitation of vision-casting, short-term and long-term business strategies, as well as growth strategy discussions.
